Preseason #1 coming off and undefeated season and supposed to be even better. The fact that they embarrassed us in Lincoln the year before made it that much sweeter.

I have a good friend who was at the game, still talks about carrying the goal posts around downtown after the victory.

I thought I'd jinxed the Beavs earlier when I posted about the early 3rd qtr pick 6 that gave OR St the 27-10 lead. Utah immediately came back to make a nail-biter out of the game. The Beavs couldn't seem to stop Utah's QB from running the QB draw all night. WOW what a game and what a relief for the Beavs to get that first conf win of the year. I sure hope Storm Woods recovers and gets back in action soon. That awkward attempt at a block got him a knee to the head that must've knocked him out for a few minutes. How are we all doing on this week's pick'ems so far? I think I missed on 1 or 2 and the Colorado game is postponed.

Serious though the badger coaches were flirting with disaster that whole last series. Long after they were in field goal range, somewhat, they were still passing the ball.

Sometimes when you tempt fate she'll bite you in the ass in the most unexpected way.

no, if it was a fumble and ASU fell on it then the clock stops for the change of possession. They clearly called the play dead. The problem was ASU fell on it thinking it wasn't kneed down and the refs took way too long to clear them off of it. Shouldn't take 10 seconds to remove them and set the ball. Total incompetence and yet their players stood there that entire 10 seconds and did nothing. Their fans are saying you run the knee and spike the ball to get a better angle on the play and I say with no time outs you are playing with disaster. Games have ended weird over such plays before. I think it is STUPID to do that EVER. Now if you had a TO, sure you can do that. Under 20 seconds you take a shot to the end zone or just kick it. Game over.

They are going to be crying over this for years. And they will be taking it out on US for that entire time. It will be OUR faults the refs did that. It was the PAC that caused their HC to call that play. OUR fans went and sat on the ball and paid the refs to run the clock out. Just be ready for it my friends. The B1G shitstorm is coming and it won't stop until my daughter has graduated.

We had too many fucking stupid mistakes and dropped passes, and 2 false starts that ended promising drives. I thought that shit left with Erickson. If we kick the two extra points, don't fumble that snap on the punt and catch the fucking football it never would have had to come down to that last play. If we play like that next week we don't stand a chance. Honestly though, we've lost so many games on stupid stuff like this the past few years I'll take one that actually goes our way. Plus the refs kind of gave the game to Wisconsin in 2010 so I'm not going to complain too much.

Positive takeaways: The defense for the most part stepped up to the challenge. I can't be too mad about the big runs, they were good play calls by Wisconsin and they had good players who made good plays. Now that fake punt

We finally found our deep threat. Wisconsin wasn't respecting Strong and we were able to capitalize on it.
