Mamba said we would roll 'em and I was not convinced. Still plenty of game to play so it's not over by any stretch however in my defense, the early start, two weeks off, Nicks passing and the first half could have very easily carried over to the second half because it was about execution not talent all along.

There were questions coming into this season about how real UCLA was or would be. I'd say this game went a long way toward answering that. The other team talked about when the south comes up will be playing their own big game tonight.

If people weren't watching them before this game, you can be sure they will after. I don't care how down Nebraska is that's a hell of a road win at this point of the season.

Stanford has always played up/down to their competition. their power run style doesn't lend well to running up scores. Doesn't mean they suck. They still beat quality teams with it don't they.

I'd pick most FBS teams to cover when given that many points against Stanford.

What the duck fans haven't learned that many of us have over our runs is EVERY game is a potential pitfall when you are on top and everyone has a target on you. It isn't always the biggest challenge that trips you up, but it happens more often than not. UW will probably be a challenge for Oregon given it's a road game for you, but there are 3-4 other games where Oregon could still lose if they aren't careful.

Figured they would come out and play much better after that loss last week and they are living up to those expectations.

Verizon doesn't have PAC-12 Network so I had to make the supreme sacrifice and watch the game at The Tilted Kilt!! Nothing tougher than watching the game at a place with a great beer selection, great food and hot waitresses in short skirts!! I managed to survive however!!

Much better performance by the offense!! Amazing what happens when you commit to a qb and open up the playbook for him!! Offense still needs some work though!! Too many penalties and 2 near misses on deep balls to Marqise Lee that would have been easy touchdown's!!

Defense was dominant!!

I didnt get to see the game. Should be home for the ASU game hopefully. Had to subject myself to spending most of the day with ducks. It wasnt pleasant. The things we do for a happy marriage...
