Over all decent 1st period, need to keep their feet moving.

A little sluggish then in the 2nd. Unfortunate to be down, but one good period and we can win this.

Obviously a tough loss, but I think we deserved a better fate. Some posts hit for sure and Andersen was downright lucky to only give up a couple. Neuvy needs to be better and so does our penalty kill.

We looked destined to tie it late for awhile there.

We can't continue to let teams score so easily on their power plays. It's very deflating.

Clement was saying something to the effect that Hakstol could of learned his lesson as far as riding Mase and Neuvy into the ground, Yes Mase is the hot hand right now, but he didn't want to completely drain his tank.


My question is, why this game??? But then again if not this game, then which one???

Yep that's always the question, however I don't believe this loss can be laid at Nuevy's feet. He made some good saves in the second and third to keep us in it, Anderson just seemed to have a Golden Horseshoe up his ass last night. Also way too many bad passes coming out of our zone. Def need to clean up the sloppy play.

For sure a broken record, Hakstol even said his most frustrating thing with this team is consistency, they just seem to stop using simple hockey which works for them and try to become fancy.

IMO it was easy to second guess starting him right away. That was the wrong choice. Period. Mason is a better goalie who's running hot. Versus Neuvy who is in an inferior goalie running cold. Neuvirth has the worst sv% in the entire NHL of goalies that have more than 14 starts. Not bottom third, not bottom 5. The WORST. Last in the NHL.

Last night's game was critical to any hope at making the playoffs. And Hakstol started the worst goalie in the league this season. Utterly ridiculous.

Chances dropped 3.2% to a 1.8% chance of making the playoffs after last night. To have a greater than 50% chance of making the playoffs, they would have to go 12-3-1. Anyone think that's happening?

First thing I ever noticed about this team, and this was last year, and it continues into this year....
There is no continuity with this team....when they are on there is still a lack of continuity.
They play teams that pass and work together and make them look foolish at times, and at times they do this to opponents, but there is no consistency to even the continuity of the team.

We played well last night and a few bounces here and there and we at least get a point out of this game. Gudas stupid penalty turned the tide and we never recovered

It dont think it would be running Mase down because weve had days off in between games.We didn't lose this game because we started the cold goalie but it didn't help us win it.

It was the wrong choice because the whole team knows Haks rides the hot hand and they said on the game last night that the decision to start Neuvy baffled a lot of the front office Flyer people and im sure some players too.

Our defense was the reason we lost this game. They had forwards behind our defense numerous times and our breakout passing was atrocious..

I really didn't understand why when we got down by 1 with 1:53 on the clock he pulled the goalie? That's is way to much time to pull the goalie when down by 1. Gave them a free 50 seconds to score on an empty net and with a speed team like that 50 second is like an eternity.

If we could be consistent we would be 5th or 6th seed with 88 points right now. We would win a Stanley cup if inconsistency was 2 points.
