I think after last year if we get in a play Washington they will be thinking oh no not them again. but one game at a time lets keep it rolling starting with tonight.

It's invaluable experience for our entire coaching staff and all of our players, so I hope we make it. I'm not saying that we would straight up beat the Caps in a series, but we would take enough out of them that they wouldn't get past round two. They will remember that and we'll be even better (and hungrier) the following season.

This kid has speed and talent. 2 goals in 8 games projects to 20 for a season. He certainly has added some excitement.

The benefit in waiting so long to see guys like Morin, Hagg, Sanheim etc. at the Nhl level is that once they finally do get here, their transition should be a lot more seamless than it would normally be. So, essentially, I expect to be a strong team with them once they arrive.

Yes. I was sort of laughing at it, honestly. I don't recall what the source was at that time, but the number now is 5.1% according to www.sportsclubstats.com. No respect, still.

They somehow have Tampa at 13.1% also. They are one point behind us.

It's true. I hope Giroux realizes now that he has to get a little dirtier, a little tougher and a little nastier in the high traffic areas in front of the opposing net to score goals. Fucking get after it. Don't just skate around the corners and turn it over. Get that puck to the fucking net. With his talent and skill, he can find a hole from there with just a little bit of time and space. If not, maybe it deflects off of his body (Hello Weal).

Once you have your confidence back, then you can start firing lasers just under the bar from the slot too like fucking Backstrom.
