88, I also would like to clarify this to you! The NFL has ranked defenses based on yards given up for years, the average knowledgeable fan knows that and shouldn't have to be told that! if we or any one else discussing the number 1 ranked defense wanted to discuss points allowed we would clarify that and say this or that team is the number one team in fewest points allowed. So my saying the Rams have the 22nd ranked defense, 12th in the NFC is fact, so you can say otherwise oh lets say, til your blue in the face.

Again I agree, points are more important, but that's not what this original argument was about, you misread it and you said things that weren't even said by me!

Again 3 of the top ten defenses in "fewest points allowed" have been on the field more than their offense has, that's what great "elite" defense do! So you can also keep screaming til you're blue in the face about our poor little defense, that's on the field to much!
Hey I got an idea to help that, make a flipping stop, and stop allowing 10-11-12 play drives, quit giving up the 3rd and long conversions and get it done yourself, step up!
But he would have survived a full season behind our oline? :L

I thought he got rid of the ball quickly, not there, I thought he was one of the most accurate passers in the league, not on those two interceptions, I thought he was a leader, not tonight,

Phillies Oline is no better then ours. Again 360 yds 2 TD's and even with the picks he had a QB rating of 91. Sam did his job. You can't give up over 200 yds rushing and another 300 in the air on defense and expect to win. the Defense didnt show up.

Didn't watch the Philly game. But I have followed this conversation since the NE game. The Anti side claimed in the NE game that it was a team effort. Bradford didn't have much to do with it. That was stressed team win. Now in the Cards game it seems its Bradford's loss instead of a team loss. I guess you really can have it both ways. In never, never-land.

Even I said it was a team effort during the New England win. Very seldom do you ever win without it being a team effort in football. The funny thing is if you watched yesterday's game Sam played way better than he did in the New England game throwing two touchdowns 360 yards and just got pummeled as usual. One very interesting thing happened after Sam got pummeled and had to go out for a play... as he came back in the next play the Philly fans gave him a standing ovation and thunderous applause.:clap: Just awesome! Even the crazy and most brutal fans in the NFL realize he's their best option at quarterback just like he was here.

Yes you did. For the antis its yada yada Bradford sucks, yada yada yada Bradford sucks. Its called spin. As long as you put the yada yadas in there its all good. But of coarse you can sense an underlying theme. :pound:

For the 1800th fucking time...

Bradford against a good defense = average

He is in the perfect offense for his skill set. And he's getting better, along with Philly D (was) getting better.

But you saw what happened last night when AZ started to pressure him, he made some bad throws. Sam made a few good throws too and he made a few throws that he got lucky on and they worked out.

Bradford would be holding a clipboard on the Rams right now, because he would have gotten knocked out in the Green Bay game.

The hypotheticals with his stats in Philly = what he would do with the Rams is borderline ratarded. No offense to the downs people.

Time for some of you to focus on something else and move on.

What did the Philly fans do after Sam threw that pick 6 last night? Sorry I had to.. :heh:

Even the Rams didn't get pounded by AZ like the Eagles did.

Dude you need to lay off the Bradford Viagra. 1) Jason Peters and that Philly Oline is better than what the Rams have put together. 2) Sam's rating was a 91 - he also had 3 turnovers, 1 was a pick 6, and his 2nd TD was in garbage time.

3) IT DOESN"T FLIPPING MATTER!! Sam would have gotten mauled on this Rams team and been hurt in week 6 or 7 man. He would not have been the SAVIOR of this Rams team after being average for 5-6 years Coug. You just bring the ratardness on this board continuously.

Sam did his job? He got his ass handed to him once AZ brought the pressure and he looked like his old self. Did the Rams get their ass kicked by Philly like that?

Actually not one boo. The game was already lost and those fans knew Sam had nothing to do with the loss. He played really good.

Jason Peters got schooled last night by Golden and was the reason sam had that fumble as Peters didn't touch his man. He hasn't been that great this year at all. The guards suck L Johnson is pretty good.

Guess you didn't watch the Giants/Panthers game or the Steeler/Broncos game. They game was lost when Bradford turned it over 3 times in the 2nd half Coug. Tough to comeback on a good team when you are coughing it up.

Peters is still far and away better than any OT the Rams have. So your analogy that the Eagles Oline is as good as the Rams is fiction.

The Rams didn't get pounded because they have a good defense. Philly does not.

Then how did Philly beat New England? I supposed Philly beat them with their good looks and Bradford right?

It's pretty simple Coug. AZ in the first half let the Eagles dictate the flow of the game and Bradford dinked and dunked. In the 2nd half, AZ came after Bradford and their defense is pretty stout - even the best Oline is going to have some holes and the QB has to make quick decisions or else..

You see what Bradford is made of when a defense decides to come after him. It's always been like this. Why more teams don't do it, is beyond me.

I realize that you like Bradford and will defend him at all cost.. So really I am wasting my time talking with you about this. In your eyes, he can do no wrong and it's always someone else's fault. I get it.

But the truth is, no matter how much you spin it.. Bradford had 3 turnovers last night in the 2nd half and there was no way the Eagles had a chance with the Cards coming after him.

What some focus on is up to them. For me without comparing QB play how can we truly evaluated our trade. To me its a bust.

How can you compare QB play with entirely different offenses with different Olines and different WRs/TEs all in a different style of offense? Rams are ground and pound mostly.. Chip Kelly is all about pushing the clock and throwing a lot.

So the true answer is you cannot really compare Bradford and Foles. Sam would have failed in this Rams' offense and would probably be hurt, so I will take the 2nd rounder all day with Foles and move on. I will also hope we don't waste this pick. :hope:

I'm not trying to argue with you all.. Just over the dead horse being mauled.

You all are discussing 2 average QBs, sometimes good on a blue moon. Both very similar, just in different systems with different protection and different weapons.

I would take Zac Ertz all day on the Rams.

Exactly. That's always been the argument from peeps in here Sam Bradford is worthless, sucks, isn't tough etc. well he has proved that wrong and has proved he was the best option for us.

Sam > Foles scared poopey pants, Keenum, Sanchez, and especially Austin bench warmer Davis. :nono:

Yeah you are. If your done be done. As far as your blanket statement about not being able to compare. Its horse crap.

It is glaringly obvious that Cougie has a man-love crush on Bradford and there is nothing left to this dead horse!
