He would still be under control for 2 more years. He does something we are not used to seeing and that is he walks more than he strikes out. His average is down this year for the first time but so are a lot of peoples. He still has 19 HRs and 17 doubles in spite of that. Since we are having a hard time finding a place for the young guys coming up to play it might be worth taking a look and trading to free up some spots.

That is what he did prior to coming up and sitting on the bench. Since going down previously he put up an OPS over 1.200. He should have come up and played DH every game that he didn't need to play at catcher. But Woodward is committed.
