I totally forgot the bust of the 2019 draft Cocko (2OA) is in this game too. Even with Buster's 2 point game he still has more points on the season (14).

Lots of trade talk about him the last few years, wouldnt be surprised to see him moved soon. Rags blew that pick like LA did in 2020.

That draft was very weak, Kings took Turcotte at 5, Bjornfot at 22 and then Arty Retardy at 33. My picks were Seider, Cozens or Byram. Byram went 4th and then Seider and Cozens went 6th and 7th. Those two were still available when Turcotte was chosen.

Kings really stretched on all 3 of their high picks, Arty Retardy went 2OA in the sexond round. Another blown draft.

You can't make their shitty draft history under Blake up. Only two real products have been Anderson in 2017 (4th) and Laferriere making a case for 2020 (3rd). Faber (2020, 2nd) and The Legend somewhat (2017, 1st) but not members of the Kings. Laferriere looking like a steal in the third round vs Buster at 2OA.

All these high picks - Kupari, Buster, Turcotte, Bjornfot, etc - should have produced at least one game breaker or superstar.

Quick is on win 398 and has played his former team well whether that be Vegas or NY so I expect him to get the start today. So clearly he will have his A game on and I expect to see vintage Quick making ungodly saves again. As we know one of the fiercest competitors ever, freaking legend.

Prediction: the Kings contribute to NYs slide and win 4-3, spoiling win 399 for Quick. LA goals by Helenius (first NHL goal), Laferriere, Kempe and Fiala. Buster prancing around like Bambi as usual looking busy but not actually doing anything.

Unfortunately, his last 3 outings haven't been good, but I'm sure has been more of a product of the Rangers as a whole playing D in front of him. Looking forward to him getting win #400, and rightfully wear the mantel of "Greatest US-born Goalie" (which imo, he already wears proudly). He's a "God" in my book, and one of the 3 greatest Kings players ever (really in the top 2 with Kopi).

100%, he's one of my all time Kings greats and as you guys know I pull for the jersey not a specific player. I dont have a #32 Kings jersey but plan on getting one. Almost none of my Kings jerseys have names on them.

But I can't wait to see him get 400, he will always be a King to me no matter what jersey he wears. Those two Cup wins don't happen without him especially 2012.
