Jerry wants to pay all these guys. He's just not going to be able to. Tough choices coming for Dallas .

there is no way he is gonna settle for less than what Wentz got. he knows he has outperformed him to date.
Rookie of the year
2 of 3 division titles
Second most wins since being in the league
More game winning drives in his 1st three years than anyone ever.

His agent will remind the Cowboys of his resume. I just assume that is the starting point of their negotiations.

I am expecting somewhere between Rodgers deal & Wilsons. (hopefully not over Wilsons deal)

Dallas is going to let Dak play out this season on his rookie deal and then let him walk next season. They will be able to do so because Jerry has a secret deal for Tom Brady to become the QB of the Cowboys from 2020-2023.

Giants will end up breaking the bank for Dak and @DirtDirtDirt won't know what to do.

30 mil for a bottom QB Go Dallas.

lel,
There are more than a few teams that can judge Dallas, but Chicago ain't one considering Dak's stats are better than Mitch in just about every category.

yes it is. But what does that matter? It's a small sample size. I'll give you a better way to look at it. The Cowboys haven't lost one game w/o Zeke that they would have won with Zeke.

also going to a 2nd string QB the Cowboys are horrible.
Granted you have to go back to the romo era to get examples because Dak hasnt missed a game yet. Except when he got pulled early in a meaningless Week 17 game. (we lost that one too)

To the people wanting to get rid of Dak & keep Zeke.
Dak is way more important to the Cowboys than Zeke is.
Doesnt matter which player you think is better.

If we lose Zeke. We arent quite as good.
We lose Dak & the team falls off a cliff.

That resume isn't worth $35-40M a year imo. But I do feel if the deal is done it shouldn't happen this offseason, I mean it's not like the Cowboys have any other options at QB so they are stuck.

IMO with Zeke and Dak this year they are a top 5-6 team.
without Zeke and with Dak they are a borderline playoff team.
without both...obviously it isn't looking good.

well I agree. I dont think any player is worth 35-40 mil.

Worst case scenario. We will still have a full year to come up with a new plan.
I still think we get him under 35 though.

only way we lose Dak is through injury.
He isnt afraid to play through his contract this year.

By no means would I suggest Dak isn't pivotal to this team. I'm really looking at why he feels his market value is so high
