Golden State beats Cleveland in six games.

But, enough about that. How can we make this about Tom Brady. Reminds me of the CBS message boards about 6 years ago when, no matter what you said, the Yankee fans would find a way to make it about Derek Jeter.

Brady acknowledges injury, says he'll play in Super Bowl XLII

Brady acknowledges injury, says he'll play in Super Bowl XLII
1/31/2008 - TOM BRADY NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
  • Associated Press
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Relax, Patriots fans. A smiling Tom Brady says not to worry about his much publicized and photographed
ankle. It won't keep him out of Sunday's Super Bowl.

New England's star quarterback walked up the three short steps to the podium with ease Sunday night, showing no signs of the right ankle injury that had become such a hot topic since he was spotted wearing a protective boot last Monday.

"It's feeling good. I'll be ready to go," Brady said with a
smile as the AFC champions met the media for the first time shortly
after arriving in Phoenix.

It was also the first time Brady acknowledged he was injured in the
AFC Championship Game.

"It was in the San Diego game, I think in the third quarter,"
Brady said, referring the Patriots' 21-12 victory last Sunday.

Since then, Brady hasn't practiced, but said he moved a little
bit during the week and "shuffled around."

"I'm not concerned about how it's going to affect my play," he
said. "This won't keep me out."

The face of New England's franchise reportedly has a minor high
ankle sprain. He wore a protective boot on his right foot last
Monday in New York while visiting supermodel girlfriend Gisele
Bundchen, causing a major stir and concern among Patriots fans.

"I was just trying to get into the house as fast as I could,"
Brady said. "I was trying to hobble along. It kind of caught me
off guard."

Damn, just by being the best and most revered basketball player in the world, Lebron has also become the biggest troll. Never have I seen so many people butthurt over someone's success.
2-4 isnt success

Putting this year's Finals aside.

4 years in Miami with arguably 3 of the top 15 of not higher rated players in the league. 2-2.

I'll give you points there. But getting to the finals year after year is not easy.

The only thing with TT is, even though he plays solid defense and rebounds like a fiend, he's not much of a scoring threat. At least not compared to Love. He's definitely gonna get paid, but I almost feel like Love would've been better to have this series, as he can definitely open up some lanes for Lebron to get to the lane. TT, not so much.

True. Love brings offense that TT doesn't, but TT brings defense that Love doesn't. I think it's easier to make up Love's offense than TT's defense though. Lots of guys in the NBA will shoot. Not as many will play defense like TT.

I can accept it. You can accept it. Lebron is the best ever. When it was just him and Jordan, you knew Lebron was on sacred ground. But Lebron does more with less than Jordan ever had to. Simple as that. It goes like this on the GOAT list:

1. Lebron
2. Jordan
3. Russell
4. Wilt
5. Oscar Robertson
T38. Kobe

12 years olds shouldn't drink this early, son!

It is easier in the East. But point taken. LeBron is a great player. Just ask him.

Muhammad Ali made a career of telling everyone how great he was. And it didn't bother anyone because it was true. The same is true here.

I dunno. How many of those 4 losses should he have won? Can we fault him for choking in any of those series that caused his team to lose?
should haves arent for sports.

brady "should be" 7-0 in superbowls (fuck bills 4th and 2. pats would have eaten the bears alive)

Ali did it because he grew up watching Gorgeous George doing it. Boxing like Wrestling relies on promotion. Self promotion sells tickets.

In a team sport it doesn't work and isn't needed.

It's flawed. If you disregard Rings in the ranking there's no way Russell is better than Wilt. No one is.

we dont have to sit thru 24/7 of how awesome lebron is, how awesome he thinks he is, and how wonderful everyone says he is. id rather hear about golden state occasionally, then lebron relentlessly.

not one, not 2, not 3, not 4 losses...
just wait man....doesn't matter if LeBron won or loss, ESPN just has to change the title to their headline for the upcoming Summer. The highlight reel and coverage stays the same.

Let's all argue about the greateness of two players were never saw play.

Oh, and if you actually did see them play then you are too senile to remember how good they may have been.
