I would think that this would be a terrible year to be a seller at the deadline. There are not many games left for players to make an impact after the deadline, and winning it all isn't that big of a deal this year anyway.

From what I’ve seen so far, I think it’s 40 games against the AL west and 20 against the NL west.

that means 10 out of our 60 games are against the astros?

20 out of 60 or 1/3 against Astros and Oakland? Probably 4 against the dodgers.

Lol. I posted close to a dozen posts about the return of the game and how different things would be. You latch onto one of those things and say I am fascinated with it. You seem to be fascinated with nitpicking to make sure you can find fault with someone.

The difference in how the trade deadline will be approached will be something significantly different about this season. That is worthy of not only being mentioned, but being discussed.

When your team stinks and you don’t have much hope or belief in the farm system, the trade deadline typically is an important time to try and get prospects and retool.

unfortunately for us, when we decided to start rebuilding is also when teams started hoarding there prospects like they are some rare commodity made out of freaking gold.

It wasn't being strapped for cash that made the Rangers draft the way they did. They just have a completely different idea about most of the players they drafted than anyone else did.

Nor I but here is a note I read in the paper. MLB will not allow tobacco or seeds in games anymore to avoid spitting and spreading covid -19. Not joking.
