I don't think they will sign 5 guys who have to have a lot of convincing. Maybe 3 total. Any others will most likely be guys happy to have a job.

well maybe 4, sign Kershaw, Story, Kyle Seger & Iglesias. trade for Ketel Marte.

I just don’t think there is anyways with Turner the LAD are going after Seager. Detroit is likely still in the mix maybe even Phillies for top 2

At the end of the day, all the Rangers can do is make their offer. It's looking like a very competitive market and it's possible that TEX could make an offer we armchair GMs consider to be fantastic, and Story could turn it down.

hopefully we aren't going the one player at a time route and are talking to a number of players. not just SS but other positional players we are interested in like other SS's, Kershaw, etc. who knows maybe signing Kershaw might draw others to sign

I'm sure they're in on Suzuki, but that's a different process. I'm sure they have multiple irons in the fire
