I'm not a huge fan. You don't really taste any of the Vodka and just not a big V8/Tomato Juice guy. There are some cool Bloody Mary bars in Chicago where you get like 30 toppings (cheeses/olives/meat/veggies, etc.) and can build something ridiculous out of it (a meal in itself) but just not for me. I'd rather just have Vodka/Pineapple juice in the morning.

Long story short, I don't think they taste that great. I think it's a bit more of a tradition/fun thing than people actually enjoying them on a wide basis... but I see them get ordered routinely at restaurants/hotels, etc. (special occasions). I don't know many people that buy the ingredients and make them at home.

Absolutely. I like to add a splash of Guinness and olive juice in there as well, then garnish with a couple of queen olives, a pickled okra, and a piece of bacon.
