The best thing about LA is that it relatively close to some really beautiful places if you go NE into the mountains Mammoth or all the way up to Tahoe, for skiing for example, or NW along the coast. The city itself is too big and chaotic, takes like 2 hours to drive through, but there are definitely some nice neighborhoods there. SD is more peaceful and laid back.

Places that if you fell down dead, nobody would find you for 50 years - if ever.

The best stadium food in the country I have experienced was in the worst stadium.
Oakland! Back when Charley Finley owned it.
There were sometimes only 5,000 fans and Charlie was trying to lose money so he could get out of his lease.
They had great sausage dogs and they were cheap. So good he still could not lose money.....

Plus by the 3rd quarter you better cover your head. That when the seagulls start flying over the place...

I did the same. My sister would run away from home and the sherrif would bring her back.
They did not even bother with me. Nobody was going to be able find me and they knew it.
It was very surreal. Sleeping bag on the ground in the pitch black with bears, cougars and rats making noises nearby.....

What do you gain from an insult over an opinion that doesn't affect either of our lives?

I could never understand the ignorance involved with using an insult to prove ones opinion as correct.
