I'll never forget that selection. I was thinking, "The mother fucker turns 29 in a month and QBs GENERALLY need at least 1-2 years to develop. You just drafted a 30 year old QB (essentially) in the FIRST ROUND!"

I've seen a lot of stupid picks in my time... but that one takes the cake. I'm trying to think of a dumber one.. and I can't place it (at least from the drafts I've watched which was roughly from 2001+ in my lifetime).

Like there's plenty of stupid ones in HINDSIGHT, but at the time of that selection I was blown away.
