I can't believe the Titans agreed to that. :L

I will say this, even when Tenn seems to do something good, it usually turns to shit.

Fred Miller
Yancey Thigpen
Carl Pickens
Levitre

Most of the guarantee is in year 1 man. We knew he was gonna be here at least 1 year. If he sucks, Tenn cuts him and takes what, a 2 mil cap hit? meh.

Does this virtually guarantee the Titans take LT Tunsil and move Lewan to the right? I think it does. You have Demarco Murray and Mariota back there. You protect them.

This slightly drops the value of the top pick for the Titans. Now anyone wanting to take a RB high knows the Titans won't be doing that (if there was any idea they would do something that stupid).

Yes. I think Dallas is now the hot spot unless someone LOVES Wentz. Trading up over SF for Goff is the next big thing to watch.

Ouch. Kuharksy is blaming it on the Eagles.

It should fall on the Eagles to be more specific on Kelly, he's the one that didn't want to pay a good center and let veteran OLmen walk.

As a fan I'm not pissed at Murray, he was but in a offense that doesn't support his running style, Kelly made no effort to adjust his offense to help Murray, defenses were blowing up the inside making Murray bounce to the outside, where CB and LB waited with no blocking!

Hopefully Howie got another 3rd round of him or even better a 2nd since dumb ass traded that away...

I don't see how you can be too upset with that.

Seems pretty favorable for a 1 year trial.

I think they should have pushed for a reduction in the guarantee. Made it incentive-based, but they might have tried that and he balked based on them being the Titans and not having any semblance of a run game.

I just skimmed this post and didn't see if anyone had info on what Tenn is giving up. Anyone have that? Anyone have what the Eagles got for Alonso and Maxwell too?

With the coaching staff hire, did they change OLine coaches as well?

totally understandable, i actually like that 70% of the guarantee is in the first year because it opens up a lot in the successive years.

A surprisingly smart move for the Titans.

Now if they can get Snacks and a good CB at the top of round 2, this team will be at least interesting.

It really is only like $2M in guaranteed money when you factor in that a base salary becomes fully guaranteed if a guy makes the roster on opening day. Obviously the Titans aren't going to trade for a guy and then cut him at the end of training camp. So really having his salary for this coming season guaranteed means very little to the Titans (they have to cut a check and put it in escrow today rather than Sept).

Defensive options abound in this draft and Robinson is smart and determined, everything Ruston Webster was not.

After Tunsil this draft needs to be mostly D.

And get Tre McBride on the field.
