If the Eagles signed him for anything, it would be for our team chaplain.
That position doesn't pay enough. He'd make more money as a motivational speaker.

Well, he accomplished more than Bradford in the NFL. Fact.

Now, if they just tell him he does not need to do anything with his throwing motion and just let him play, he can be one hell of a play maker.

But....

He has been too poisoned by the "experts" who insist he had to. As a result, he aimed (or thought about his motion way too much) the ball way too much. Of course people could never understand how all of a sudden he would make plays and move the team in the final 5 minutes in a lot of those games.

Well, he stopped thinking so much cause they would be in a hurry up offense. He would all of a sudden emerge as the play maker he had always been. One of the best play makers college football had ever seen.

Just saying.

All I really remember from that game was Tebow throwing a perfect strike at the end of the game on about the 2nd play in overtime. 30 yards or so in the air, a catch, a juke maybe and jogging in for a TD and win! The next week it was something like a 44-10 loss and an ugly game for the Broncs.

Going 10-21 in a playoff game is brilliant?

Well, he did complete 4 passes of over 50 yards. All on target and I think that is some kind of NFL record. Plus he ran for significant yards.

Turn down the volume and watch.

That pass was a lot closer to 15 yards than 30.

Yeah he did complete a couple of bombs. D. Thomas (4-201 & a TD) tore up that depleted steelers D that day. No teams in the league are 100% healthy come playoff time but Pittsburgh was pretty banged up for that game. I think the outcome would have been different if the steelers weren't dealing w/ so many injuries heading into that game. Also Tebow carried the ball 10 times (longest being 11) for 50 yards in that game.

You are exaggerating, yeah you are. Either that, or you did not see the game nor the highlights.
no, i can throw a ball to a wide open receiver if given the chance.

I cannot tell. Are you saying the Steelers desperately needed Ryan Clark? They pretty much had everyone else.

So, it took a fully healthy Steelers defense to shut down Tebow? Ok.

Interesting.

Well, I suppose Eagle fans will be relieved to know that Chip hasn't completely lost his mind.
But wait ... Now Matt Barkley is up for grabs...:dhd:
