Because they had players who can do it better. But I'm not just talking about the QB sneak. We see RBs stoned at the LOS but the officials refuse to blow the play dead, allowing offensive players to push the pile into the end zone (as the announcers give full credit to the RB as if he did it alone). This is totally unfair to the defense.

Bucs with Vita Vea just eye testing it have been as good as any from what I’ve seen. Vea is a mountain of a man.
They stopped it in the play-off game the one time the Eagles tried it but in the regular season game they only stopped it 1 of 4 times. Vea was definitely the difference getting low enough on Kelcey that the Eagles didn't have leverage. The missed facemask at the end helped though, lol.
