I was going to Ennis for the NHRA Fall Nationals, and they got rained out last Friday... so we detoured to Fort Worth and went to Bill Bob's

there's a front coming through, gonna rain today. Cloudy now in Austin. The Texas Rangers moved their game up to 11 am because they wanted to beat the storm front. Still sunshine there, but if it's raining in FtWorth, it's going to start raining soon at Rangers ballpark too.

Patterson has had to beg and plead TCU's shitty student/alumni/fan base to attend home games so the other team wouldn't take over the stadium. Big 12 schools were happy when TCU was added to the conference b/c it meant an extra home game for us. It's the same old story for the students: the Fraternities and Sororities tailgate in the parking lot, then when the game starts, they go to bars to watch the game or go do some blow behind the Fraternity houses by the creek rather than attend the game. I am missing some games in Austin this year b/c of two reasons: Busy as hell this fall and Texas is playing in Ft Worth this year, so it's actually a home game for us, as Amon Carter Stadium will be nothing but burnt orange.....
