Lebron beat Dame in 2020.
That's true. But just take a look at all the L's Lebron has given those guys in playoffs vs Curry. Lebron has definitely been part of the story. Not half though.

10 finals appearances to Curry's 6 says otherwise.

Comprehension must be hard. How many times has Lebron prevented those specific guys from winning a title or advancing in the playoffs? You can certainly make a case for a lot of other players, but you're just pivoting the argument, lol.

Can't keep it civil, must be personally invested in the argument?

I would say the actives just simply aren't that guy, other than maybe Dame. Russ is a 2nd guy at best. CP3 is his own worst enemy due to his failing health in seemingly every playoff run (and Stern blocked the trade to LA). Harden I just hate, so there's that lol, but I feel he's a 2nd guy too. Plus he's forced his way off two teams and was a depth piece on his one true shot.

Lebron would've ultimately blocked them had Curry not. Fewer Curry championships results in more Lebron championships, not championships for these other guys IMO.

Lillard is 4-8 in playoff series.

Dude still has a losing record without counting series against GS. And he’s been swept in the first by multiple franchises. It’s not just Curry.

Melo, absolutely. Probably Russ and Harden too because he beat them while with the Heat.

CP3 and Dame are all Curry.
The greats in this era would have to lean Curry but it's pretty close to even I would say (considering really good All-Star players too/non-HOFrs).

Melo - Lebron
Russ - If we are talking about a true opportunity at a ring. BOTH.
Harden - Curry
CP3 - Curry
Dame - Curry
Horford - Lebron
Jimmy Butler - Lebron (tbd)
Paul George - Lebron
Dwight - BOTH (counting him as active-China)
Lowry - Lebron
Conley - Curry
Aldridge - Curry
Millsap - Lebron

You're just trying to pivot the argument. Any way you slice it, the best players of this era have gone down to Steph at a higher rate than Lebron. That's just factual. You can absolutely argue that it was conference based and he had more opportunities. But just the volume of times Steph and Lebron faced these players is highly skewed.

This is not a Curry vs Lebron argument. You turned it into that. Curry ACTUALLY blocked these players. You're just throwing hypotheticals that Lebron would have done the same.

All the players listed have been named to the top 75 players of all time. That's not by me. That's by the NBA. So you can feel free to discount them if you want, but those are the top generational talents to not have a ring.

Again, absolutely fair. The only guys I listed were the ones named to the top 75 players of all time (excluding Melo).

Melo is 0-1 in the playoffs against Curry. Melo is 0-2 vs. Lebron.

Kidd got a ring with Dirk, correct? And he was playing at the solid-starter/high-end role-player level by then?

Another one who was headed for this list but wound up with a pretty cheap ring was Payton.

Good for him.

i keep forgetting he was on that 06 heat squad.

That was a fun, random team that surrounded their big 2.

Screw that Heat team.

Mourning got his as a role guy that year too. While Wade shot free throws.

Malone almost got a cheap one in LA but he did play 32 mpg...not too cheap but no ring regardless. Payton stuck around for his
