Sidney Moncrief, Marques Johnson and Terry Cummings, all couldnt get past the 80's Celtics, but were great players.

Alex Caruso is an NBA champion

The Bald Baller. Only good thing about the Lakers. :heh: I like his story & like watching him play. He wasn't given anything. You don't hear many stories like his.

Smush Parker, Donyell Marshall? Best players to not win a title. 85% of the people don't even know who they are. Probably not even the best player on their team. Hope this was a joke.
It was. You missed it.

The main thread got me thinking about these.

The biggest ones are the usual names: Barkley, Ewing, Drexler, Malone, and Stockton
Next tier slightly down is Reggie Miller, Tracy McGrady, Grant Hill, Gary Payton, Steve Nash, Chris Mullin, Chris Webber, Allen Iverson...

Who am I missing?

I'm leaving out current players, they can always ring chase before they retire (Chris Paul, Harden, Russ, etc)
You forgot the greatest player never to win a title; Elgin Baylor

Jack Haley got a ring too!

Sad fact, he died in 2015 at age 51 of heart disease

I have a picture somewhere of him holding my daughter when she was a baby.

My wife and a friend of hers were out somewhere and ran into him. My wife's friend knew him because he used to surf with her brother or something. She tells my wife who he is, so my wife asks him to take a picture of him holding our daughter for me. Tells him I'll love it. He says..."Oh, your husband won't even know who I am". My wife says..."Trust me. He'll know".

She comes home and says "Do you know who Jack Haley is?" I said "Yeah, he's an NBA player. Went to UCLA and was Dennis Rodman's caddy in Chicago. Played a season with the Lakers too. Why?" She says "I knew it" and proceeded to tell me the story.

The wikipedia article on him says he resented being thought of as Rodman's babysitter. But he literally played only one game that year. He was, still, part of the 1996 Bulls, one of the greatest teams ever

I don't think Elmore "The Rejector" Smith ever won one.

Neither did Dick Van Arsdale, Truck Robinson, Garfield Heard and Alvan Adams.

I think about their missed opportunities almost on the daily
