Bennie -- Don't ever let anyone know you were really in the nachos line when he hit his HR.
HaHa. That's funny because we all timed our bathroom and concession visits around his at bats. It was so funny after his last at bat to see so many folks heading for the exits. Usually that is done in between innings, but so many folks got up right in the middle of the inning just because they figured it was his last at bat.

I did miss Elvis' throw while going to the bathroom. lol

An estimated 444 ft HR along with a 2B, single, BB, 3 RS and 4 RBI's. There are a lot of people who didn't know who Gallo was today. There will be a lot less tomorrow. Unbelievable!

Rangers OF Shin-Soo Choo hits eighth homer of season

Rangers outfielder Shin-Soo Choo went 3 for 5 from the plate in Tuesday night's 15-2 win over the White Sox.

Choo hit his eighth home run of the season. It was a solo shot in the bottom of the fourth inning off of White Sox pitcher Jeff Samardzija.

Choo is now hitting .246/.330/.447.

Hopefully this one gets Choo going again

Rangers' Rua will start rehab; Blanks ready for extended spring games

Rangers outfielder Ryan Rua (foot) is scheduled to start a minor-league rehab assignment on Wednesday with Triple A Round Rock, while first baseman Kyle Blanks (pilonidal cyst) will go to Arizona for extended spring training work on Thursday, per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Gonna have lots of decisions to make once guys all get healthy

Only .5 game out of the 2nd WC spot! It's crazy how things have changed so quickly.

Winning 12 of 15 will change things quite a bit! If they hadn't been so terrible in April, no telling where they would be in the standings

The ABs he needs to pay most attention to tonight were the one where he struck out, and next the one where he walked

The AB that he struck out on the 1st pitch was outside for a ball and the 2nd pitch was even further outside and the ump called it a strike. After that Gallo swung at everything and none were strikes but the ump set that up. The AB where he walked on a 3-2 pitch I thought for sure was a strike and I think that is why they did not bother to show it on pitch tracker or even replay it. So to me it made up for the previous AB.

As much as I am on Martin I thought he put solid wood on the ball in all 5 ABs. And that play in the hole was a thing of beauty by Elvis. I don't think Gallo had an opportunity to make 1 play last night which is really unusual for a 3rd baseman.

Noticed Archer stuck out 15 Angels last night. The only Angel he did not strike out was Pujols but he got Trout 3 times. Joey Butler of Ranger fame is now hitting .333 for the Rays.

It was just one game. Let's see how he's doing this time next week.

He will have his struggles after his scouting report gets out there, but he will adjust. His talent is obvious

He gets his money's worth when he swings. He'll be fun to watch. Once Beltre is back he'll head to Round Rock.

There's probably a couple 0-4 3 K games in his near future, so everyone should tap the brakes just a tad
Happy but surprised last night went as well as it did. He will get his hits and his K's. Going to be an adventure.

Let's say Gallo continues to impress enough that he makes it clear he is ready. Do the Rangers send him down to work on playing the OF and then try to trade Choo next month to make room for him? I am fairly certain they would never trade Beltre if they are anywhere close to being in the race for the wildcard so if they want to make room for Joey then Choo would probably be the guy to be moved. Or do they wait to do that in the offseason? They could trade Moreland and put Prince at 1B, but I don't think they want Joey DHing most of the rest of the year.
