Staff supporters shouldn't take it as a knock that I find Numba Nine comparable to The RyGuy. I think the RyGuy is good and getting better.
Take solace in that my friends.

How many wins does CJ have over winning/playoff teams? The point is it doesn't take any one guy to win or lose. Those wins and losses were credited to the team. People want to single out one player to discredit his ability.
I think Staff has more natural ability. But I think RT clearly is more of a student of the game and a harder worker. Still too early to saw who is better. And Im serious aboot that. But I think they're very close in QB power rankings. Both in the middle third of NFL starters...
Joey Harrington would have had more yards per pass/completion than most QBs if he had CJ to chuck it up there to 500 style.
Suh was never the problem. Led all DTs in all major categories since 2010. Not his fault no one good was around him for most of it.
I've seen Tannehill improve in his first 3 years while (aside from week 1 vs the Giants), stafford looks like the same guy since his rookie year.
This is all based on personal opinion but Stafford is better. While I like RT, there's nothing about him that sets him apart from a average QB. Yeah, we can talk about wins and all that crap too, but Staff is still better.
While I agree Matt is better at this moment. Where do you see RT after his 6th season?
It's hard to answer that question truly. He does seem to be doing more, quicker with less talent around him though.

Can I lump you in with me in the "Comparable" department then?Tannehill has never broken 7 yards an attempt. Brady's career average is 7.4. Stafford has one full season as a starter with it being under 7. I like Tanehill, but he is not as good as Stafford. He has improved more, but that's because he was barely a quarterback when he came into the league. The Stafford that everyone thinks sucks was good enough to throw for 5000 yards and 41 touchdowns in his first full season as a starter. He may not be perfect, but he is good enough to take a team far into the playoffs. I'd take him over most the quarterbacks in this league when age is considered. Above him I have Luck, Rodgers, and ... (I'm a Wilson hater). Tannehill is probably my number 4 when talking about guys to build a franchise around.
Only his third season though. (Staff only attempted 12 more passes this year. 590 to 602 With a .2 YPA advantage. This season and for their career.)Comparable yes, but I don't think they are actually that close. Tannehill had his career high YPA while throwing way fewer passes.
The AFC is incredible stacked. A 10 or 11 win team could miss the playoffs. In Miami, we have an overall better roster than you guys in Detroit (better QB for example) and now we have Suh. So if the Lions can make the post-season with Suh, I like our chances. But I'm not guaranteeing anything. Pats still the team to beat, just like the Packers are the team to beat for you guys up North.
Suh carried the Lions for 5 years. If our GM can draft better than a ham sandwich, we should be ok.
I could swear I saw him complete a 12 yarder one time. I believe he had some touch on it also.

Watching them both play tackle football for money.Based on what?
