He walked it back last night, saying the Cowboys never contacted him. It was media amd or fans asking the question.
He came off pretty badly. He clearly wanted everyone to think teams were calling him and specifically then talks about the Cowboys. Then he says I meant friends were texting me to play. I believe it was just friends but he clearly wanted to play the part for the national tv audience IMO.

what I am going to be happy for when the season starts.
Some actual professional commentators. These couple weeks these commentators are horrible.

Could we finally have struck gold with our second round pick after 10 previous tries??? He looked good with no off the field drama issues.

Cowboys Reportedly Release Veteran Tight End With Injury Settlement

Unfortunately, those roster cuts have led to the of one player's tenure in Dallas. On Friday, the Cowboys released veteran tight end Jeremy Sprinkle with an injury settlement.

Sprinkle was heading into his second year with the Cowboys after re-signing with them in March. But the Cowboys had to put him on injured reserve earlier this week.

His time in Dallas ends with just three receptions for 31 yards along with two tackles on special teams. But he may still have an NFL future ahead of him once he mends.

He ain't ready
He probably isnt. Then again you got less than stellar QB play going on in these pre season games . . I will say the OL stunk for the most part. Josh Ball sucks and cant block 3rd stringers. Walentzko has potential. Ball going to get Dak hurt. Nashon Wright is a bust IMO. Total waste of a premium pick. Cooper Rush stinks. He going to be a sitting duck if he has to play. Who really cares if he beat the Vikings? Vikings were a bad last season. We need a mobile guy like Grier as the backup.
