2025 offseason stuff

This is about the lowest point for me. It's one thing to have a crappy year or even a few in a row but I always felt the team was at least trying to improve. I always thought even though he is incompetent and his own worst enemy and the main reason this team always loses that Jerry at least wanted to win and would do whatever it took. Now I realize he doesn't care about winning. He cares about perception and making money. He'd rather have a team that can't concentrate as wave after wave of people come through "The Star" while the players are trying to work out. He'd rather have a team that is made up of his buddies than sign actual good players from other teams or let his favorite players go. He'd rather have the sun blind his players during the game and impact wins and losses than admit the design of his stadium is flawed. He'd rather double down and make his coaches keep playing guys like Zeke instead of admitting he screwed up the entire offseason by signing him instead of the many actual good players that were available and thinking he could still play at a high level even though EVERYONE knew it was a mistake. He'd rather re-sign his HC who has had nothing but horrible efforts in the biggest of games than make a decision on who else he should hire and actually pony up big $'s to sign someone. He'd rather save money than bring in top free agents that might have put us over the edge even after proclaiming for all to hear that he was "all in". Worst of all, he'd rather continue to destroy this team from the inside by making decisions about football himself and in conjunction with his son than admit he is incompetent and the biggest reason we have won nothing of any value in 3 decades. Fuck you Jerry and your stupid son as well.

My real problem is with Jerry and Stevie. Two delusional dipchits that don't know what they are doing. I don't see a Johnson or Vrabel wanting to be in Dallas. It too much of a circus

Not a big fan of this potential move. Going for it on the goal line and throwing when they could have put Luepke in there. This is one reason I was not keen in having McCarthy back. So many dumb play calls.

If they dumb enough to run back McCarthy then they need to make major changes with their assistant coaches. Shottenhemer sucks. Fossil sucks. Get him the hell out. Sick of his retarded "trick" plays and fake punts that never work. The RB,OL coach and D line coaches can also be gone.

Guyton never improved one iota. Asim Richards is better than Guyton IMO and it is because he plays with better technique. I question whether Guyton can ever be a quality starter in this league. So many penalties and missed blocks with this guy.


I imagine Zimmer will return if McCarthy does.

Al Harris hopefully is retained and potentially could be an interim HC if the chit really hits the fan.

Personally, I don't think Schottenheimer sucks, he's just very conservative, which honestly, with our current personnel, is a good thing. The last thing we need to do is go back to throwing it 50 times a game with 1 great WR and a bunch of lemons

Yuck. Aaron Jones is a Hell of a back, but he can't stay on the field. The big worry looking at that list is that there's no way Dowdle signs on the cheap when he is one of the most attractive options out there
