• Fox Sports’ Jordan Schultz reports the Falcons and Commanders have “been monitoring the Trey Hendrickson situation.”
  With Hendrickson now permitted to seek a trade, we would expect to hear several more teams are interested in the star pass rusher’s services. The Commanders finished 11th last season with 43 sacks, but it was the Falcons whose pass rush truly struggled, as they managed only 31 sacks on the season, the second-lowest total of any team in the league. The Commanders have ample cap space to trade for Hendrickson and sign him to a new deal if they desire to do so, while the Falcons have some work to do just to be in compliance with the cap space for this upcoming season. This is worth considering, as Hendrickson will likely be eyeing a new deal from whatever team deals for him. We’ll see what other suitors emerge in the coming days, but Hendrickson’s days in Cincinnati appear all but finished.

I think Trey Hendrickson is the best fit for this team of any edge rushers out there available via trade or FA.

Seems like Hendrickson was a late bloomer n didn't become an every game starter till his 4th year with the Saints. He's been a monster since then.

He didn't do much when the Bengals played the Skins last year. I recall an announcer saying they hadn't mentioned his name all night n they had not n he cane up with his only sack of the game after that.

We had more trouble stopping the run IMO than creating pressure. It sure seems like most of the damage was done to the right of the defense. I'm not really thrilled with giving up a high pick for Hendrickson, who I love, when that will do nothing to fix the run defense on the right side of the defense.
