On Wisconsin
Hopefully Washington will lose again and eliminate the controversy.
So because PSU shit the bed OOC, they deserve to make the playoffs? That's an awfully arbitrary reason which has nothing to do with who played better.
And what does a win over a bowl eligible teams mean anymore? There will probably be 80 or so bowl eligible teams.
Hopefully Washington will lose again and eliminate the controversy.
Interesting.Given that both Alabama and Clemson win their CCG's, and the Committee does put Ohio State in the top 4, they could be looking at selecting only one of the two 11 win P5 Conference Champions with a CCG win.
If Colorado (11-2) wins the PAC & Penn State (11-2) or Wisconsin (11-2) wins the Big 10, this is what the seeding would most likely look like....
1. SEC Champ 13-0
2. ACC Champ 12-1
3. PAC Champ 11-2 or Big10 Champ 11-2
4. Big10 East Division Runner-Up 11-1
So if Ohio State does get the nod in this scenario, which Conference Champ gets the snub?
The PAC or The B1G?
LOL, yeah it sounds like it.Sounds like several think the final four should be Bama, tOSU, Wisky and Penn State. Do I have that correct?

Yes but just remember some of these folks abuse booze, pills, and themselves so I wouldn't take anything serious on here
BCS is so fucking stupid. There's a huge difference between being #8 or #9 vs. #4 or #5. After years of saying "Hey, it's jut not possible to have a championship!" it magically appeared. Then they were saying "Well we just can't figure out how to have a playoff!" it magically appeared when everyone was pissed off about the conference rematch for the championship game. Now we have this shit show. It needs to be 8 teams, everybody has known this for years, and hopefully they finally address it.

DJ, yes I had a good Turkey day, how about you? I watched most of the games so far this weekend. The Ohio State and Michigan game was great. Too bad someone had to loss. Touch call on that first down call, it was close. Could you lmagine if the refs called the Buckeyes short on the first down? Hell the fans would have torn the place down, as it was in Columbus.Hey, @The Oldtimer.......see you liking my comments bud. Did you have a good Turkey day?

This is simple to fix. 8 teams. P5 Champs get the top 5 seeds and are seeded in order, 2 at larges and the top ranked G5 conference champ. I'd give the G5 champ the 6 seed every year unless they were ranked higher than a P5 champ. This year it'd be
1 BAMA VS 8 MICHIGAN
2 CLEMSON VS 7 OHIO ST
3 WASHINGTON VS 6 WESTERN MICHIGAN
4 WISCONSIN VS 5 OKLAHOMA
Those are great games and it's totally fair
Well the one thing we've established this year is that a G5 is never making the playoff. If an unbeaten G5 can't get in in a year where we are debating 2 loss teams then a G5 is never ever getting inA lot of people are forgetting about them. Looks like WM is getting totally snubbed in the current format.

LOL, yeah it is great to be retired. Too bad about your dad, I hope he is okay. It's always nice to have good neighbors and friends to spend the holidays with. I will be watching and cheering for the Raiders today. It was okay.....due to unforseen circumstances I wasn't able to spend time at my sister's but my parents didn't make the trek because of an infection my dad had in his knee but I made do here at my apartment complex with neighbors who stopped in and visited. It was alright, I was just grateful for the 4 day weekend and reprieve from work.
You're lucky you're retired and you don't have to do it anymore, you bastard!!!! I'm jelly.
