Well I have LeBron in the top 5 all time but not Kobe. Hell, he's not even 1 of the 5 greatest Lakers! Magic, KAJ, The Logo, Wilt & Mark Madsen. And other Lakers I'd put ahead of Kobe: Shaq, Big Game James, Adam Morrison, Andrew Bynum & Luke Walton. Kobe can't even break into the top 10 roster.

As GREAT as Kobe was- and hes a top 10 guy for me- or possibly JUST outside it- he only got 1- becuase its DAMN hard to win an MVP-

That and he's an asshole who was never as popular among those who vote for the MVP as he was among the fans.

Nevitt was fun. In blowouts, fans used to chant his name and give him a standing O when he was put in the game. Definite fan favorite.

Kobe was not the most likeable personality...especially if you were not a Laker fan...Bird was the same way for me. but I eventually came around...he was a great player as well.
