Some want government run like a business. I'd argue that's a bad idea (and further that the current administration is among the least prepared to do that properly even if pushing forward with it). But if government were run like a business, Miami, Houston, and New Orleans wouldn't exist because they're bad investments.

I read it was the I-10 near Beaumont, so not only does 20 mi sound about right but there's not even a river or lake nearby. Just crazy.
