Lots of ugly in this game. Refs were bad. O line was bad. Receivers dropped way too many balls. But Wilson, Lynch and the D showed up and a road win on MNF is never easy to get, so I'd say overall it's a positive, but there's tons of things that need improvement. That said, Seattle is back in first place where they belong, and I expect them to remain there for the rest of the season.

Unbelievable! Jay Gruden is doing his press conference and he's bitching about the "bad call" on the Wilson challenge. Uh, Jay? I think you did ok with the refs tonight.

That was an ugly hard fought game. Wilson, Lynch and the Defense get the game balls tonight. On a side note, major props for Percy Harvin too. To have multiple TD's wiped out because of bad penalties and to keep his composure, team player. I hope he gets his next week.

Ugly win but a win. Starting to wonder about Okung though. His play is becoming an issue.

The whole line was overall not good tonight, not just Okung. Saw both guards get blown up a few times, Unger was making seriously stupid mistakes, and of course we don't really have a TE right now.

That playing surface still looks like a steaming pile. If they're going to play on a natural surface then there's got to be some type of standard.

Unger, Okung and Carpenter all had really bad games, we jumped on the hard count a handful of times on defense too. Pete seems very aware of it in the post game comments I hope that is a point of emphasis this week cutting down on stupid penalty's.

I feel like these last two games they have won they take the foot off the gas on offense a little bit in the second half, get a little too run heavy and predictable that plus the penalty's has made two possible blow outs instead hard fought wins.

Would like to see them finish better but it's still early in the season I think this team can be very very scary should they get everything clicking on cylinders, maybe better than last season's club. They just have another level with Harvin in the mix this year.

Looking forward to next week's game should be exciting I hope they lay a beating on Dallas.

Yes it did so much sand kicking up, I thought Harvin was hurt bad because of the field was pretty pissed about it until they said it was cramps that field doesn't belong in the NFL.

I guess the slightly sluggish play isnt a huge surprise. There were 10 days between game 1 and game 2 and 15 days between game 3 and game 4. Hopefully now with a more normal schedule they can get into more of rhythm.

Two things: the league is tired of us blowing teams out in prime time.

Secondly, bevell is a frickin moron with ZEEEERO play calling ability or intelligence.

Guys, don't sweat tonight's game, it was predictable. Next week the Seahawk will look just fine against the Cowboys.

Really looking forward to that game.

:10:

We aren't going to look like world beaters every week. The OL wasn't very good and the refs were a bit against us but that is going to happen sometimes.

The Hawks were ahead by 7 or more points the entire game. I know we want to see utter domination every week and I know the talking heads will point out every time we aren't dominant, because we are the defending champs, but I am perfectly comfortable with tonight's result.

Our receivers aren't likely to drop 4 passes again. BTW, how crazy is it that Russ was 18-24 with 4 dropped passes? Man he is fun to watch.

Sunday we get back to business against an average Cowboys team. I feel good about our chances.

I can't put this on Bevell. There were 3 or 4 TD's called back because of seriously fucking lame boneheaded blunders by various players.

How many 3rd and 3's/ 3rd and 4's were wiped out and turned into 8 or more yards because of just mental lapses? That's not Bevell, that's the team shooting themselves in the feet.

No excuses for bevell, the guy never counters a blitz, he is too predictable, he loves bubble screens and other short shit way too much. We have weapons and the beast and he barely utilizes any of it. He doesnt work around our weakness and he doesnt expose other teams weaknesses.

Other less talented offenses are not so torturous to watch.

Couple things.

1. Running game looked great. Still had over 100 yards without Russ's contribution.

2. Officiating was laughable, but that happens in about 50% of NFL games these days. The call on Carpenter was a joke. What's the record for most TD's called back on one player in a game? Percy may have broken it.

3. I don't know how you start at near midfield for three straight possessions and come out with 0 points. Gotta take advantage of those kinds of situations, this game was closer than it should have been.

4. Russ is a boss.

I am certain that Bevell is instructed to swallow the football when the team has a big league. That 3rd quarter was ugly and unnecessary. I know that it has worked for us but I feel that it is needlessly keeping the other team in it.

The one downfield pass they threw in the 2nd half resulted in a TD, albeit negated because of a dubious call. Had they played with aggression in the 3rd quarter this game would have been over early.
