No surprise there.
He's a savvy vet that's knows the ropes and it's not like the Seahawks are anything new to him either.
Good excuse to give him a break and rest.
This struck me:
Seahawks rookie MLB Bobby Wagner champing at the bit to limit Kaepernick, who he had good success limiting in college when Utah State played Nevada.
In 2010, Kap's highest passer rating (217.1) came against Utah State. He didn't put up HUGE numbers, but he averaged 12.67 YPA and 19 YPC, 190 yards passing for two TDs, and 102 yards rushing with a 59-yard TD. Reno won 56-42.
In 2009, Kap had 189 passing yards, three TDs, and 77 rushing yards in a 35-32 win.
Given some of Kap's bigger games, I suppose you could say that's "limiting" him, but that doesn't seem terribly accurate to me.
Wagner can think anyway he wants, thats the way professionals need to think. but it is a team game in every sense and more so when it comes to football.
