Vrabel is my top choice, and I think I've been pretty consistent with that.

I will add that Quinn wouldn't make me upset or flip out like some of you seem to be headed toward. He's taken a team to the SB as a HC in this league, which is extremely tough to do. He's had success in every organization he's been part of. KJ Wright endorses him, and that means a whole hell of a lot more to me than opinions of fans on a message board.

But I'll reiterate, Vrabel is my #1 choice.

I like Vrabel as well... Too be honest, if MM interviews well, I'd be shocked that he isn't our guy... I'd be shocked if he didn't view the Hawks as a team who really wants him since they are basically going to wait out the process until he is available to interview... Seems to me that MM is the front runner right now...

Yeah, you might be right about Macdonald. But KC scored a TD pretty easily on their 1st drive, so if you ask some people around here then he might be on the verge of being eliminated from consideration.

I would be pretty happy with Macdonald. He's probably my No. 1 choice.

I wouldn't be upset, but I don't know much about him. Don't think I've ever seen/heard him speak. If he has been the #1 target of JS, then this whole thing is pretty ballsy since he (JS) stuck with the plan while many of the other candidates are getting hired away.

He turned around the UM defense and then went to Baltimore and took a middle of the road defense into one of the best defenses in football. I also think working under both Harbaugh is a good learning experience.

Yeah... Good thing the Bears didn't fire Buddy Ryan after they gave up 38 pts to the Marino led Dolphins in 1985 after upsetting the undefeated Bears who were 12-0 at that time... Bears had only given up 3 points in their past 3 games leading up to the Dolphins game in the Orange Bowl...

** side note: I remember running home from football practice that Monday evening so I wouldn't miss that game...
