I have weird feelings about sunday. Part of me wants the lions and ravens to lose so we can wrap up this process. The other part of me wants to see the niners and chiefs get their shit pushed in, watching that SB rematch would be painful.

I don’t want Quinn as our next head coach, I think it’s a safe boring hire and not a hard reset like this franchise needs, but rather a soft reset where things will remain close to the same … As a defensive coordinator I wouldn’t frown on Quinn, but as our head coach ? I don’t think that ends well, it would be more of the same … I’m hearing lots of rumors that Seattle is close to hiring Quinn, and I personally think our rivals want that …

there are a lot of assumptions that Quinn is going to be the guy, but I havent seen any real rumors saying we are close to hiring him. where are you seeing that?

I would ignore pretty much any rumors about who the Hawks will be hiring until basically they announce it.

My guess is that won't happen until, at the earliest later in the week as they are going to want to meet Macdonald.

Dan Quinn is option 3 and good thing only 2 spots left with the top 2 candidates still in play. I would be stunned if neither get hired and they go Quinn.

you want quinn to be the coach?

Vrabel is my top choice, and I think I've been pretty consistent with that.

I will add that Quinn wouldn't make me upset or flip out like some of you seem to be headed toward. He's taken a team to the SB as a HC in this league, which is extremely tough to do. He's had success in every organization he's been part of. KJ Wright endorses him, and that means a whole hell of a lot more to me than opinions of fans on a message board.

But I'll reiterate, Vrabel is my #1 choice.
