I repeat: Pete Carroll will be 71 next season. He does not want to be involved in a rebuild in any form. He wants to try to make a run (whether that is feasible or not is beside the point).
So what offer would bring back a viable QB, and also give them players that would offset the $26 million in dead money they would no longer be able to use?
That is why a trade doesn't make sense. It doesn't matter if you or I feel that they can or cannot make a run or not. PC believes that they can and that is what is relevant.
So PC makes the decisions for the teams future? Its better for the Seahawks future to trade him now. If Washington is going to overpay then you take it. Why wait to get a worst offer? just b/c PC is 71 years old? lol
