Apparently against the rules, so I'd say that's inaccurate.

I'd say yes to 3 1sts and 2 2nds though.

If the offer was indeed a "strong" one from Washington, considering how bad they are at bidding for top-end, in their prime players, I can imagine that "strong offer" being Taylor Heinicke, a 2026 first-round pick, and two 7th round selections, one in 2023 the other in 2025. Sadly all reports of a strong offer by this group means something for nothing.

We offered a 1 and 3 plus a player last year for Stafford. Being that we have #11 this year, it should have been the same offer. I'm thinking the player is either Payne or Ionman.

I dont know why Seattle wont deal. Seattle is not going anywhere with RW. So, my as well get picks for him now.

Because they are not a clown organization that trades away a still viable asset for hot garbage.

You think Seattle should trade RW and replace him with who - a drafted guy not as good as RW? Geno Smith? Any of the subpar qb’s that werent good enough for washington to begin with (otherwise they wouldnt be going after RW)?

Your homerism is galling.

Very unlikely a team is going to trade away top QB and have nothing less unless they are dumping salary or the QB is declining.

21sts and 3 other assets , most likely the type of deals proposed here and they said get fucked as i thought they would . you arent getting something for nothing and the hawks arent trotting out geno smith as their guy

imagine seatle trying to sell that locker room that ? much like the hypothetical RR would have to have right ?

being an observer in all this and looking at realistic options the commies arent getting the elite qb no matter how many times you say they need one , you are going to have to draft that qb

the sooner that is realized the better

I repeat: Pete Carroll will be 71 next season. He does not want to be involved in a rebuild in any form. He wants to try to make a run (whether that is feasible or not is beside the point).

So what offer would bring back a viable QB, and also give them players that would offset the $26 million in dead money they would no longer be able to use?

That is why a trade doesn't make sense. It doesn't matter if you or I feel that they can or cannot make a run or not. PC believes that they can and that is what is relevant.

#11 is garbage? Payne is garbage? the Lions got garbage for Stafford. We had the better offer
