Denver really got a good deal here. Didn't give up 3 first rounders. And the players they sent were the QB (a throw in), the TE they werent' going to pay the 5th year option on, and a DLineman on the wrong side of 30. And of course, the pair of ones and twos.

If that seems like a lot, remember that the Jets got two #1s for Jamal Adams. This isn't all that much more for a PB-level QB.

I saw a report that said Denver was Wilson's preferred destination. Doesn't necessarily mean he didn't want to play for Washington, it just means he wanted to play somewhere else more.
