Can't say that Ron isn't swinging for the fence. Does missing on Wilson mean they make a stronger initial offer for Watson?
I think it depends on if he's criminally charged or not. If it's just civil, I think they go all in.

now what was the commies offer ? probably not that good . 2 starters 4 high draft picks . we werent going to beat that with what we have

True are offer was worst. 3 first rounders? I thought Seattle got a good deal and RW is now in the AFC. RW had a better chance of getting to a Super Bowl if he was dealt here. The AFC is super strong right now.

Denver really got a good deal here. Didn't give up 3 first rounders. And the players they sent were the QB (a throw in), the TE they werent' going to pay the 5th year option on, and a DLineman on the wrong side of 30. And of course, the pair of ones and twos.

If that seems like a lot, remember that the Jets got two #1s for Jamal Adams. This isn't all that much more for a PB-level QB.

I think Seattle got a great deal and he is in the AFC. They got two starters, two firsts (#9 pick overall), and 2 2nds.

Seattle has traded Wilson to the Broncos. Did NOT see that coming!

No word on the terms yet. Supposed to include Lock going back to Seattle along with multiple 1st rounders, other picks, etc.
Every team has a price in which they will relinquish, with few exceptions, any player. This is a bad look for RR and company, especially since they claim that they "made a significant offer" for Wilson and it comes out that Wilson refused to waive when DC came calling. The ONLY salvation for Washington will be reports that Denver didn't want to trade Wilson to another conference team.

Yep!! The price that you pay for waiting too long and being afraid.

Denver beat our offer and Seattle wanted Wilson in the AFC. Its a win/win for Seattle.
Most Seattle fans sure don't see it that way. Most of their responses boil down to: (a) "The team has officially given up"; and/or (b) "We didn't get nearly enough for him."

Some of the optimistic Seahawk fans seem to think they'll only be down for a couple of years and then they'll be back. Their smarter brethren are quick to remind them how hard it is find a good, let alone great, QB in the NFL--some teams have been looking for a decade or more.

Commie fans are the least self aware of fans around . I am in observer mode

They won’t accept that until this team stops being drama central , get better facilities and get an owner worth a damn we arent going to draw winning football players with character .

You can’t bypass character for wins and what you get are guys just collecting pay checks

#9 overall pick and all the rest of the haul is plenty. They made the right call for the future of the team.
