Gone Country!
RW has taken a lot of criticism, rightfully so imo... Especially for not getting the take chunks off the clock in the 4th quarter when we've needed them too... I've been one of the critics...
Today, he finally led offense in an effort to actually close out a game this year... That TD was on Baldwin for the most part but RW stood in the pocket there to fire a dart to Baldwin for a 1st down, which Baldwin broke two tackles to take it the rest of the way... Great play by both of them as well as the OL to close out that game...
Seems like RW is finally pulling out of a funk... Over the past 2 games,
45 for 59 completions
Completion% of 76.2%
605 yards passing
8 TD's / 0 INT's
more importantly the team is converting on 3rd downs over that span and our running game is clicking on all cylinders...
Great to see RW have a good game against a good team... We really need him to step up like this because our defense is not the same defense we're accustomed to seeing...
