He has 267 TD passes right now, next season with just 30 more he will pass....

Joe Montana 273
Vinny Testerverde,,,kind of surprising...275
Johnny Unitas 290
Warren Moon 291
Carson Palmer 294

That will put him at number 14 on the All Time list.

Looking at his career you won't find any QB who compares if talking, starts, wins, rushing, passing, QB rating, he has had the best first nine seasons we have ever seen.

He is histories only 4000 yds/30td/500yds in a season, he is 15 yards short of doing it three times. Only Rodgers has a better QB Rating for a career,

His final season at Wisconsin he set a new single season passing efficency record, his rookie NFL season he walked right in and took over and tied the rookie TD record at 26 (Peyton).

No sitting the bench for this guy, he simply took over and preceded to put up the best first nine NFL seasons we have ever seen.

Not just a baller but a QB inching up the historical ladder, he is already the best Seahawks QB ever, and among the top 3/4 in the NFL right now. So how long before he enters into that all time greats discussion? He is the best passer/runner we have see.

The greatness of Russell Wilson

144 games (reg season) 144 starts
Superbowl Champion
7 pro bowls
4 4000 yard seasons
5 30 Passing TDs seasons
6 10 or less UNT seasons
267 TD/81 INT.....rare three times more TD than INT
6 100 or more pass rating, his 101.7 second all time
Hell, forgot about his rushing yards

You cannot find any QB who compares to that in their first nine seasons.

Give it a shot, good luck!

As good as it gets

Listen he isn't better than Matt Hassleback and he certainly is not better than Drew Bledsoe so we can stop trying to argue that he is.

Hassleback
Career passing comp%...60.5
He never had a 4000 yard season
He ever had more than 28 passing TD in a season
He had six seasons with 14 or more INT's
Rushing....202 yards in a season his best
His career passer rating....82.4

What are you looking at?

Drew Bledsoe, you can't be serious.

You would be surprised at his level of stupidity. I think he enjoys the attention.....

Wilson will pass Randall Cunningham next season when it comes to rushing yards All Time, he will end up third, doubt he passes Newton and Vick.

As we know Wilson a far better passer than those two,

I’ve watched every Seahawks game he’s ever played in since day 1 and he’s definitely a baller... He’s been a blast to watch... When he goes into improv mode he’s the most dangerous QB I think the league has ever seen ... I don’t think he’s the best ever, just the best at backyard football, improv... I think he’s top 10 all time though, depending on how he ends his career, he can move up, still has time left ...

Since RaZon is a self professed 49er fan he confuses me. He and Hank Kingsley should met for a beer or something as they both are Russell Wilson admirers and not Seahawks fans.

How have the 9ers been the last 20 years?

He's not holding the trophy if it wasn't for the LOB and Lynch. No way you're beating the Saints going 9 of 18 for 108 yards and 0 TDs in that first game of that run.

And in the following year you're not beating the Packers in the NFC Championship game going 14 of 29 for 209 yards and 1 TD with 4 INTs.

Wilson has an amazing regular season body of work. He's usually good for about a couple of really bad duds a season but other than those blips his play is top notch.

His playoff body of work is just good. It's doesn't come close to his regular season body of work and he simply hasn't been a special playoff QB.

Since their last SB run in 2014 the Seahawks have 3 playoff wins and all of them against opponents they were expected to beat and one of them they needed Blair Walsh to blow what would've certainly been a game winning FG.

I actually attribute the largest portion of the blame for the Hawks lackluster playoff performances on Pete but I can't absolve Wilson of blame either.

You can't give Wilson all the praise for the times the Hawks play well and win but anything negative is the offensive lines fault, offensive coordinator's fault, or Pete's fault.
