Not to say it isn't impressive as well, but playing an extra period helps the stat line.First since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 1975. Oh and the Thunder are 2-0 to start the season.
That was supposed to say "impressive as hell", stupid auto correct. Not to say it isn't impressive as well, but playing an extra period helps the stat line.
Why the ? Did he not get his 10th assist in the extra time? Points to go over 50? Any rebounds? Not to say it isn't impressive as well, but playing an extra period helps the stat line.
Westbrook is a man amongst boys.
His 17-44 shooting line suggest otherwise
He's gonna put up a lot of shots this season. He missed too many shots, but there's going to be a lot of nights where he get's up 30-40 shots.

Putting up shots his fine. Missing that amount of shots is ridiculous.
RW is a great player, but no team will go far when a single player is taking 44 shots in a game.
This will be one of the most exciting individual seasons of all time.
Only 3 teams can realistically win the title and we all know who they are.
So individual excitement from an undermanned team like OKC is entertaining.
It doesn't matter if he takes 10 shots, 1 shot, 100 shots...it does NOT matter...only three teams can realistically win the title.
What, you think Westbrook playing a traditional PG role with Roberson and Singler throwing up bricks is going to help them?
Dude HAS to take a lot of shots for them to even have a chance.
Not when Westbrook is chucking so many poor quality shots, at least not for my taste. I prefer team basketball with the stars playing within the scheme.
I'm not saying he has a better option, just that it's not that impressive to me to see a player just run wild.

Still super impressive, but extra time helps, especially when you go beast mode.
No, but to me it makes it less impressive than Kareem's done in 48 minutes. He isn't the first player to play an OT game.
