I have seen overreactions from both sides.

I'm not looking forward to the " He's a bust " garbage that some labeled Deangelo with prematurely.

Lonzo is not gonna put up big scoring numbers night in and out.

But, he can stuff the stat sheet in every category.

He didn't shoot well, but neither did anyone else outside of Kuzma, Randle and Clarkson. I liked the 7 boards and 8 assists. It's also pretty obvious that when he's on the floor his passing is pretty contagious because he doesn't dominate the ball trying to be the guy with the most assists. He's happy to get the "hockey assist" as long it means the ball is moving.

Gonna be fun watching these guys all learn and grow together.
