ESPN "Around the Horn" spent time on the potential for Brown to get to New England. ESPN and the NFL Network are both saying that AB has pretty much worn out his welcome in the NFL and if he doesn't land in New England, his playing says might just be over. They've both taken some random polls of GMs and Owners and no one wants to deal with his drama.

The consensus is that he has literally put himself in this position and teams fear that he could do what he's done to Pittsburgh and Oakland to them. They think that Belichick's success with bad actors might be the only saving grace for AB.

Again I don't really care what the pundits say, 1. There is not a team need for him. 2. He hasn't earned a spot on this team. 3. He's shown his true colors. 4. With all the success this franchise has had I would hate to see this another blemish on the face of the franchise.

Drew Rosenhaus, agent for AnyonioBrown has confirmed that he has spoken with several GMs about AB and that the reception has been very negative. The oakland Raiders have tried to discuss a trade with as many as four teams and no one will take Ab's contract.

According to the NFL, the Raiders can void AB's contract because he violated several rules when he went after Raider GM Mike Mayock. The Raiders are considering voiding the contract even though it will be like giving away two draft picks for nothing. The problem for the Raiders is this.....if they suspend him, they must pay him his guaranteed portion of his contract which is $31M, so it's about 99% that they will void the contract and allow him to become a free agent.

According to Tom Curran, Rosenhaus has called Bill Belichick 'several' times in an effort to get him to 'trade' for Antoinio Brown and BB has flat out told him, "Absolutely NO!" Rosenhaus has supposedly told AB that his NFL career may be over unless he can find a team willing to take a very calculated risk, most likely a one year contract for the veteran minimum with possible performance bonuses. He's also supposedly told AB that the only team that he might be able to get to take him and give him a final chance most likely will be the Patriots. If he does get a chance with the Patriots and blows it, his NFL career is over.

There has been nothing from AB. Most likely Rosenhaus has told him to say nothing to anyone until he can sort this mess out.

This is what's being rumored at this hour.........The oaklandRaiders will void Antonio Brown's contract by Wednesday after clearing any and all league and legal hurdles. Antonio Brown will become a free agent. Antonio Brown will, if he wants to play football in the NFL in 2019, sign with the New England Patriots on Thursday but will not play until Game #3.

Can you imagine Welker, Gordon, Thomas, Harry and Antnio Brown in a 5 WR set?

.

No!! Please No!!

I cannot imagine Welker back in a Pats uniform at his age with his concussion issues.
Please stay retired Wes, please.

BB said he would absolutely not "TRADE" for AB and his monster contract.

Signing him as a FA might be a totally different thing. Especially at the vet min.

All a moot point anyway but I’d shit in AB’s banned helmet if he would play for the minimum

Rosenhaus engineered everything sothat AB would finally understand that he would lose everything. Amazing how much more important $50M is when you’re about to piss it away.

Haynesworth, Ocho Cinco, now the crap with Josh Gordon. The Pats have put too much into retreads and troublemakers.

This guy is nothing but a troublemaker.

Yep...and now he's a free agent.

Not only is AB AFU, there's also something seriously wrong in Oakland. The guy makes an apology and then he tapes a conversation with Gruden and things seem to be calming down.

BOOM!!! "I want my release" and he gets it........Sorta like the Titanic........."Hey Cap'n. Did you see that iceberg that just went by????"

I would cnot all Gordon's issues as crap. They are personal issues many people fight, and he stepped away from the team to fight them.Nobody in their right mind would step away from a contending team just before a championship run.. He wasn't in his right mind and he stepped away so the team could persue their championship underacted..

About damn time. Now BK just has to top obsessing with AB to the Pats. No thank you.

He isn't too bright. Upset over fines and now loses $29.125M. "The Raiders fined Brown $215,073.53 for conduct detrimental to the team, league sources told Schefter on Saturday.

By fining Brown, the Raiders voided the $29.125 million worth of guaranteed money in his deal, sources told Schefter."
