Now that would be funny. Romo retires at some point and RG3 becomes the starter. We could listen to Redskins and Cowboys fans doing a 180 on RG3....I say let it happen, it would be pure gold.

So it's my fault you can't take a joke??? Now that you went there and lumped me in with others, why don't you pull the post over the last 10 years where I made a comment like that without directly responding to a troll attempt...
Jarntt.... come on man. I can take as well as I can give. I freely admit.. BOB sucks. He was a one year wonder that fooled every one... Including me. The only bright spot in the whole thing is that he finally forced Snyder to get a real GM, and we look to be heading back towards Redskins football. For those two things, fuck I might have flipped the Rams an Extra second rounder.
And sorry for lumping you in With Eastbay, but you did seem to be sort of supporting his argument.
Its good to know you are not in "denial"...... Who you got winning the division this year?
The Giants.
Chip and Jay will both end up fired, and Dallas will be just one piece away as usual.
And by the way, I kinda realized we were screwed on the whole RG3 thing the minute he started the whole all in for week one barrage. He has/had the physical tools to change the way the position was played. But his ego will ultimately be the reason he fails. The only way he remains the Redskins starter is if we convincingly win the Division with him being more than a game manager.... and some how I dont see that happening.
I do see the Giants as the Boyz biggest competition. I think our pass rush & therefore our defense to be much improved. I am looking forward to training camp to see who emerges @ RB. I am banking on Randall & hope for McFadden to surprise.
My take is that the biggest asset you had to the ground game never stepped onto the field for a snap and is now in DC. And i dont say this lightly. Big Red likes to run pass plays, and Im not sold that Linehan doesnt fall from the same tree. And some how Im just not seeing Frank Pollack as having the kind of voice in the playbook construction, much less on game day as Callahan had. Throw in the fact that McFadden gets injured lacing up his cleats and I would have to wonder if things are not going to be a bit more off kilter than on would like.
Callahan was an assets but he wasn't working with minced meat. Pollack & Columbo will do just fine. Linehan called plays last year & Garrett was all onboard. Even if they do have to throw the ball a little more not like they dont have the weapons. Defense is what is going to tell the story of how far this team goes....

Guess we shall see in a few months. I think the ground game masked a suspect defense.
How did your son make out with his tour overseas?
While i do tend to agree with Sando here, the man does have a serious boycrush on Russell Wilson and has a tendency to to find any you black athletic QB not named Russell Wilson to be lacking.
Im just saying, Asking Sando to give his opinion on QBs is like asking a Patriots fan if they think Brady cheated... you cant help but get a biased answer.
No doubt it did last year. Marinelli has more talent to work with this year & this is year three in his system.
Sando really does like Wilson, but that doesn't make him wrong about RG3.
And truthfully, Wilson is the best black QB in the league by a decent margin. Of course he thinks the others are lacking in comparison, but that's exact
y not a racially driven narrative.
BTW, nice dogs. You a rescuer?

I love predicting shit like this. I nailed it on vince young coming out if texas too....so said an anonymous NFL offensive coach.
"There's no coming back," the undisclosed offensive coach told ESPN.com's Mike Sando. "He is done. The reason is, the injury slowed his legs, and his ego will not allow him to hit rock bottom and actually grind his way back up the right way."
This coach wasn't alone in his sentiment regarding Griffin's outlook.
"To get better in this league, you have to have a degree of humility," a personnel director said, via Sando. "... When (Griffin) looks in the mirror, he is seeing things that everybody else is not seeing. That is why I was surprised when they gave him the fifth-year (option) and said it was an easy decision."
The quotes come courtesy of Sando's exhaustively researched quarterback rankings, which have been compiled with input from a panel of eight personnel directors, six general managers, four head coaches, five offensive coordinators, five defensive coordinators, three salary-cap managers, two ex-GMs, two ex-head coaches, and one offensive assistant coach.
In the 2014 version of Sando's rankings, one veteran quarterback castigated Griffin for refusing to accept any blame for his own struggles.
There's a sentiment among analysts and league insiders that Griffin must capitulate to coaching, understanding that his own fundamentally flawed approach is not the avenue to sustained NFL success.
