Im lukewarm on this.

Ultimately it's probably a relatively low cost shot at getting better. But i stilm dont know if that makes it worthwhile.

Depends on the contract. Im not convinced resigning him is the way to go yet. But we have half a season to figure that out at least.
Tag him it will cost 11 mill let him walk we will get comp pick in 2020

Im a little concerned that both the packers and the packers fan base seem to be happy to have him out the door.

According to pff we now have the best 2 safeys in the nfl and to gkeko if he walks after the season we will get a comp pick in 2020 for him because he is free agent in march

Will we get a compensatory pick? Do you think we won’t be signing any big FAs?

No it isn't. The packers shopped him while in a playoff race.

Fans were down on him before the trade.

Fans arent afraid to rip trades they don't like.

I hadn’t noticed that

Probly a comp pick

If coach and I are on the same page, this is a win win situation. A 25 year old playmaker that starts, helps with depth.
If he signs with another team, we get comp'd ...Just based on his production, some coaches may scheme slightly different offensively.

Im a little concerned that both the packers and the packers fan base seem to be happy to have him out the door.

That could perhaps be rationalization on their part. The organization generally spins things in this case to make it appear that they really didn't like or want the player just traded. Ditto for many fans although you do see some Packer fans reacting to this who are not happy.

They guy went to the pro bowl not long ago, has a fair amt of tackles & 3 INTs at this time. I don't think that there is an issue with him in terms of production. If the concern is with his attitude I am not worried in the least. He is an ex-Bama player who is likely thrilled to be joining Allen & Payne & I believe that those 2 as well as Swearinger will keep him in line if needed.

Looking forward to watching this defense moving fwd. I am not sure if there is enough time for Dix to be prepared vs. the Falcons, but I feel confident that he will add to this defense at least this season barring injury.
