This has got to make Bears fans sick…Dan Quinn was interviewed for the Bears job too.
To be fair, Monday Quarterbacking with hindsight is also low hanging fruit

Technically he wasn't a coach under McVay. He was more of a personal friend, sounding board, advisor, and 2nd opinion. The offensive issues that were there before he joined were still there when he left. IE: getting away form the run too quickly, sticking with plays and a game plan when it wasn't working, not having specific plays for non 11-personnel sets, adapting 11-personnel blocking schemes and check-downs when the play was run from an empty backfield. I wasn't sad to see him join a divisional rival, and that's not a good sign.Bears will probably wait until the offseason to dump Eberflus (based on their history).
The Seahawks have been better post-Waldron. Bears will probably be too, but maybe not in-season. Not everyone from the McVay coaching tree is a worthy hire.
