49ers DE Ray McDonald was arrested on felony domestic violence charges at 5:30am Sunday morning.


Sources tell NBC Bay Area news reporter Damian Trujillo that McDonald's alleged victim was pregnant. He was officially booked for "inflicting injury on a spouse or cohabitant." Furthermore, the San Jose police are reportedly saying that there were other 49ers players present at the time of the incident. Note that Roger Goodell just finished apologizing to owners about how he handled the Ray Rice situation, and promised to enforce a more stringent set of rules for domestic violence that includes a six-game ban for first offenders. McDonald, who also got a DUI in 2010, has started 45 games over the last three seasons for the Niners.

We will find out soon enough. This hasn't hit the main sports site yet but he will be the poster child for this....six games. the 9ers need to plan right now for this. He might actually get jail time if this is true.

Other 49ers were present, including tight end Vernon Davis and defensive end Demarcus Dobbs. McDonald was booked at 5:30 a.m. in San Jose for “inflicting injury on a spouse or cohabitant,” according to the Santa Clara Department of Corrections. Bail has not yet been set.

Let's not go jumping to conclusions sparky. Wait until we hear what actually happened. Domestic violence a lot of times is one of those he said/she said type charges. Obviously the ray rice incident is different as you see the video of her being knocked out. If that becomes the case here then feel free to judge, until then you might want to wait for facts to come out.

Again, I'll wait for everything to come out not just one side. If true he should be cut for sure, but domestics aren't always as black and white as people make them out to be.
