Darvish's missed start Thursday against the Orioles likely will go to either long man Ross Wolf -- who threw one pitch in Monday's win -- or Double-A starter Neil Ramirez.

That will depend on whether Wolf is needed for Wednesday's game against the Orioles should emergency starter Josh Lindblom not pitch deep into the game.

Kinda of wanted to see Ramirez start to see what he could do. I am ok with Wolfe as he has pitched well albeit only 27 innings but Wash obviously thinks he gives us the best chance to win tonorrow

Wash doesn't make that call. JD does. And Ramirez isn't close to ML ready.

I want the guy that gives us the best chance of winning but if this barage of injuries continues you have to wonder if Ramirez will get called up at some point in time

Whatever happened to Ramirez anyway? I remember like 2 or 3 years ago we had 5 top prospects in Profar, Olt, Perez, Martin, and Ramirez. 3 of them are now contributors on the ML team and Olt has been up and even had a walk-off hit, but Ramirez hasn't done anything.
