okay sorry. you don't approve of the suggestion so consider it withdrawn, please educate us on what we should do

I think there's a fine line. Sometimes things will work out and sometimes they won't but making moves that don't make business sense for the future isn't always the best thing to do. But then again there is a fine line.

Quit being a little bitch and learn to handle somebody disagreeing with you.

Any trades to be made should be looking strictly to 2014 and beyond. This season is over and Nolan and JD have the responsibility to best prepare this club for next season. NO trade should be made with regards to 2013. It is over. Time to move on. Let's see what we can get to have the best club we can in 2014. That is what I believe we should do.

It's July 28 and Texas is within striking distance and the season is over? Things look bad right now but it's far from over. Plenty of baseball to be played.

Hang on to what you have and make changes in off season to make changes. To much to fix right now.

Forget the trading deadline, we need to start thinking about 2014. This is a pathetic showcase of hitting.

so asking you to tell me what we should do is whining. I am asking you what you would do and you act like an asshole

Exactly. If you can't really improve the team you hold your cards.

But don't act like there wasn't a bitchy smart ass tone to your post.

Probably six games out after today, what do you call close.

Only post

I have abstained from posting for a couple of weeks because I have railed on Magadan earlier in the season and been attacked by the crowd. Here's the deal, something must be done to shake things up and JD can go get all the hitters in the world but it won't help if the approach at the plate doesn't change. EVERY potential rally for the Rangers today has been stifled by a Ranger hitter swinging at a first pitch. I get it that hitters must execute but a disciplined approach particularly against someone who has fits of wildness like Jimenez is what's needed and obviously not what's coached by wash and the boys. So sick of watching AJ, Beltre, Cruz, and Moreland kill a rally first ball swinging I can't stand it.

6 games isn't 10. 6 games to come back from is more than manageable. Oakland isn't exactly lighting it up either and Texas goes on a little win streak here then all of a sudden things change. I know we focus on the present and it's easy to count things out and so quickly but there's 2 full months of ball to be played.

maybe but he is the best available unless Colorado changes their mind on Cuddyer

Would love to have M.Cuddyer but at this point I am starting to wonder if just bringing on a bat or two would even cure what ails this team. Its not going to be worth what we would have to give up which more than likely would be a R.Odor and for me he is off limits. Kid is playing lights out at MB and he is only 19

They suck and it gets worse each day. Short of bringing in 5 new hitters there is really nothing they can do. No trades that leverage the future. Try to extend Garza and just see what happens with the roster constructed as is.
