Yes, he struggled after that all star break, but unless he has a terrible last three games it will be better than both the first two months.

The totals for the rest of the year could easily be in the 55-60 range or even lower.

During my reading about the CBA this morning, players are definitely focusing on salaries and pushing them higher. Contract extensions, in general, work against that goal. So I certainly think Boras is advising against the extension regardless of what it is.

There are lots of patterns to look at. He could match his pattern from 2019 of having an OPS in the upper .900s. People see what they want to see usually, all of us do.
