I agree with "sell" but of course of those who may have no future here.To me it spells "sell.'
When I mentioned no rebuild I was not wanting to get rid of Semien and players of that caliber and character.

Another way of putting it. Get rid of the Grossmans and such and replace the 40 man with better.I agree with "sell" but of course of those who may have no future here.

LOL! Those and others we lose at the end of the year to prepare us for next year.Another way of putting it. Get rid of the Grossmans and such and replace the 40 man with better.
His career may be just about over now.Something tells me Scherzer isn't making his start on Friday. I hope he doesn't. Let him rest until after the AS break and see if nerve issue improves.
No need to risk permanent nerve damage for a team going nowhere this season.
It’s not worth it. I hope he can improve to the point where he he can sustain a comfortable life. He has nothing to prove but Scherzer was my favorite non Ranger pitcher. I wish we could have had him earlier on during his career.Something tells me Scherzer isn't making his start on Friday. I hope he doesn't. Very disappointed. Didn’t expect thisneeds to go
Think it has to be on the table. We would be 37-46 and probably 10 or more games back.Question for everyone?
If we get swept by the Orioles, does that make us sellers, or would it still be premature.
I really don’t want to trade Semian plus I don’t believe he would get traded. I got attached to these guys after last years special run. He is a good leader plus a character guy. It’s been tough watching our top guys struggle.Yes he is on the table as well. Problem is he still has 4 years left after this one and he is turning 34 in Sept
I like the Rotation as well just concerned with the injuries attached with most of these guys. Would like to see how Mahle and Degrom perform when they get back.Signing them can be done even if we trade them.
Of course we should have:
deGrom
Mahle
Gray
Bradford
Dunning
That would be a really good rotation, so it might be wiser to spend money on relievers and not on Lorenzen .
I would like to see us pursue Roki Sasaki.I like the Rotation as well just concerned with the injuries attached with most of these guys. Would like to see how Mahle and Degrom perform when they get back.
Seemed like we got teased with Bradford. He pitched so well before the injury and now we are only going to see him in relief duty when he gets back. I want to see him start again.
I like that he is only 22I would like to see us pursue Roki Sasaki.
Duran and Taveras alone aren't going to bring anything in return that would make it worth trading Duran. those 2 and prospects would but some on here are opposed to doing that even if the return makes the team better. same for Nate, what we would get in return isn't going to make the team better in the long runI'm with ya totally on the rebuild. And I always like the scenarios of getting better at any given position. But I swear DT I can't imagine 'A' team thinking they'd get better by adding a package of Duran/Traveras. And I don't know what a team would give up to get Scherzer. Unfortunately for him and us, there's just so little left in the tank, it's damn near tankless.
zero and zeroIf they’re 10 games back at the trade deadline. I would see what I could get for some of the older veterans. Like Scherzer and Robertson.
