I said I thought he might be a clubhouse cancer, but the more I talked to sox fans about him I found out you love him if he's on your team. I was still opposed to a multi year deal with him, but liked the 1 year deal. So technically you're right.

I'll admit I was indifferent to AJ due to his rep as a bad attitude, and the fact that outside of last year had never shown much power, and had never heard anything good about his game calling, but alas there weren't any better FA options out there (Napoli wasn't a full time option to me)

So far, he's proving me wrong
